Trying to order a new windshield and glass for my El Lobo Manx Clone. The old one is just to trashed to use it. Looked up online where to measure and when I do that I get 44”. That just did not seem right because there are not really any but one random 44” one out there and has no glass with it. So went to measure the mounting location and came up with about 43 9/16”. Showed where I measure in pictures below. (The picture of the mounting location on the hood piece is measured with the hood flipped over as I have some stuff drying that I painted on the bottom of it and can’t flip it over right now).
What size would you recommend I order?
And any recommendations on which brand is the best and where best to order from? Want to make sure I get a really good quality one that has the track in it and any other options they can come with if any???

Most of the frames on the market are made by Dino's but he can only run the business on a part time basis and he can be a little hard to get hold of sometimes. He makes a top quality product though. |

He made one for me but I would like for it to be a little shorter. Can I just take it to a glass guy & have him cut it down? |

The cross dash bar has screws to hold it together and keep the glass from dropping out of the frame. A glass place may be able to cut it shorter for you, and then you will need to re-drill the holes for that dash bar and cut the bottom of the frame off what ever length you shortened it by.
My local to me glass place cuts new glass for me for $ 89.00 with tax. And it has the light green tint to it. It is DOT approved laminated glass too. _________________ Bad News Racing 2018 NORRA 1000 3rd in Class
