I found this on this site. I tried PM the poster a few weeks a go, but no reply.
Does any know where I can buy something like this? I've been searching, but nothing.

I have one similar from AMP Research and it was for "M" class Mercedes around year 2000...
It was expensive in 2001 when I did my buggy it was $147 ....
Don't see that particular door on AMP site now... All they seem to have is one for Jeep...
You can get cheaper ones everywhere, FLAPS, E=bray, etc... Most are dress-up accessories, many variation out there, best types seem to be for PU Trucks..
Make Google inquirery for " gas door" or "gas flaps"...
Try this link and chase it from there ( its visual search instead of text search)...

This one is pretty close but has funky magnetic latch...

Magnetic catch is from kitchen cabinet and it failed with one on my race car (not car hood pictured above) and half way through auto-x run it would flip open.... Duct Tape to the rescue... I would avoid any one that uses magnetic catch...

I ended up getting one online. Actually goes on a Dodge Ram truck side cover.
I just cut the fiberglass out and screwed it in. Easy. Has a magnetic spring release to open and close.
