That's what I've been telling people...at least until I find another early one anyway 
In reality I have pieced together my SO42 from many different kits...it's been fun but I am glad I got most of my stuff before prices REALLY took off. |

Final batch of repro SO23 sprinkler heads is finished.
Open to trading for SO23 parts
Update: SO23 fanatics are fast and these are all sold out.

Help
I’m looking for an So42 walkthrough “stool” that rests between the fridge and the jumpseat. Anybody have one to sell or trade? Not the bay stool.
There is one for sale right now in the classifieds but looks to be homemade.
I have a few small So42 bits to trade or good old cash too.

I have a nice Subhatch Westfalia Rack correct for 62/63 westfalias . This is the longer 52.5 “ rack not the shorter pop top versions . I need a correct Hunnersdorff water bottle for my 61 flipseat and a Mauser . Can trade or buy up or down .. lemme know if you can help.

Perhaps you are looking for a used original, or something less expensive (this IS the "trade" page; I get it), but here's that part, newly re-manufactured, on NLA VW's Website for £29.95 ($42.00):

...I've bought several random parts for my SO-42 from NLA VW, best of all; brand-new perfect reproductions of curtain rods (I had all my originals except for the two for the back window, but NLA VW has 'em!).

Darn! Yeah; I knew they were going to be making it... What a tease to have it kind-of listed.
I'll keep an eye out at the next few meets I go to in May if you haven't found one before then.
