Trying to correctly assemble/rebuild steering column from a 71 bus-particularly the upper steering shaft portion--any bearings, washers, insulating parts needed?; I think my dashboard mounting bracket/collar is okay-I did not disassemble it. Took column apart to install new ignition switch-that went sriaght forward. Now I am trying to get the horn to work-didn't work when I bought the bus. I can only find a 1968 steering column diagram or a diagram that covers several years--I think 71 had some differences? I am looking for a 1971 specific steering column diagram or even actual pictures of all the parts I may need-there has been some mucking around by previous owners I would like to correct if possible. Any help or input is greatly appreciated.

I found this picture- https://www.thesamba.com/vw/gallery/pix/464322.jpg

I do not have the cup/bearing? at base of the spring or the insulating ring/washer at top edge of the mounting bracket that covers the collar edge and I assume helps to separate the turn signal collar from the mounting bracket.

Steering column changed only in some small details from 1968-1974. There's an exploded diagram of the parts at Fig. 9-12, Front Axle
chapter, in your Bentley service manual. P/N's for bearing, thrust ring/spring seat, and lock housing insulator are 211-415-585A,
113-415-589A, and 211-415-597 respectively.
