Depending on the offset/ET on those wheels your options will vary.
- It they have an ET higher than 50 you may get away without any, or light, narrowing. If the ET is low you may need to do more narrowing.
- Depending on how low you want the car you may want to consider a set of 2.5" drop spindles. If lower, you will want to combine drop spindles with an adjustable beam.
- To fit those wheels you will need to replace your disk rotors with ones already drilled for your bolt patters (5x130?) Look at CSP in Germany for options.
Things to consider:
- The more you narrow your beam the worse the bump steer will get
- If you will ONLY be doing SLOW cruising, the narrowed beam will not impact your quality of life
- If you lower severely via an adjustable beam, you will need lowered ball joints and shorter shocks. You may also need to flip your tie rods and get a bump steer kit.
- If you want to retain the best handling possible, keep the beam at standard width. If you plan to go to Wilwood brakes up front you will want drop drum spindles and a Wilwood adapter bracket from V-Dub Engineering.
- The best first step is get the wheels and tires (tyres) you plan to use and place them up against your current rotors. Test for clearance, or what you will need to do to get clearance. Check the wheels lock-to-lock. Take note of where they will rub or make contact with the car.
- Fender rolling and adjustment of the steering stops may be needed.
That is all I can think of at the moment, others will be along shortly.
...we're all in this together,

My bet is that the OP is referring to the CSP/EMPI/etc 17x7 5x130 pattern Fuchs replica wheels.🤔
These typically have an ET40 offset.
There are a number of posts here on Forum under Ghia Wheel/Tire/Suspension heading. (Sticky)

This car for sale even has the ultra-rare Single Core motor.
Intel could offer you a Dual Core, or Quad Core option.

Did a lot of research when I was wanting to install these. Unfortunately for me, I had to convert my long axle 68 to short axle. But what is good for you, I was told by a couple IRS guys that the rear wheels will bolt right on... As long as you have the Porsche drums installed. The front... I was also told that a 2" narrowed beam would work, which is what I went with. Good luck.
After short axle conversion...
Before narrowed beam, but after short axle conversion...
After 2" narrowed/adjustable beam...
