Finally replacing my front bumper after the crash with a BBQ. The existing two bolts came off remarkably easy.

I'm replacing with stock (black). Anybody know the torque for these and the rear bumper, as well?

Crank ‘em down pretty good but not too hard.

This is not a critical torque value. Tighten it enough to stay on and not enough that you break something.

There is a torque value for almost every fastener but unless
it is a critical engine or suspension or brake part just do not get too worried about it.

Since there are only two, seems kinda critical. After my at speed collision with a flying BBQ, I'm a little leary of large pieces of metal going under the van.

I'll either look up the bolt spec or use a little loctite. I've broken a few captive nuts in my day using gutentite. A bit of a pain when you do so.

Mine has nothing on the older bumper. But that would seem about right.

Yeah it does take a few years to calibrate gutentite to the bolt size.
