My son and Have been working on a 65 Notch for the last year and a half.
He does the metal work and body work. I do the mechanical and electrical and assembly.
I picked the car up in Eastern Washington.

This is a numbers matching Pan but was converted to front disc brakes and 4 lug drums And Because of that We decided to fix the Pan

I hunted down a 69 Pan in the Seattle area for parts.
We really picked this pan clean before we where done.
a couple parts removed for the new pan

We had huge concerns about Keeping the pan in the correct shape when we removed so much.. after an hour of measuring leveling out the table . we started cutting and piecing it together My son does amazing work
the 69 pan picked over

Wow, that pan reminds me of what I did to Krunchy's pan. Floors on both sides, and replacing the entire frame head (rather than replacing the bottom plate). I also swapped out the beam due to rust and a broken left torsion bar.
Definitely some nice work going on. Here some pics of mine.

Wow! I always vote for keeping the original pan, but in this case I would have hesitated. Impressive work! |

This is the last of the work on the Pan.
I did replace all the brake lines and installed a rebuilt short axle Transmission.
and moved back to 5 Lug
