Windshield wipers don’t work

Hey guys I have a 67 beetle I have voltage all the way to the motor except for the orange wire which I’m not sure where it runs to? My guess is the motor is bad any help or suggestions or anybody know where the orange wire runs?

Orange, or light brown (which is a ground)? There is no orange wire, at least from the factory.

So perhaps it has been rewired, in which case all bets are off as far as color.

Post up photos and maybe we can guess.

Otherwise, try the oft-suggested tip of printing the file above (from the Technical section) at kinkos, blown up poster size, on card stock, and have it laminated. Then you can mark off each wire and connection as you go with a dry erase marker.
