How do the 5 lug 66 beauty rings differ from the 67 and later 4 lug beauty rings.

If I had to guess, I'd guess that the interior opening diameter is different.

Djkeev, thanks for the summary.

Tdctdi, no, before I spend that kind of crazy-ass money I would just go back to the drum brakes that are supposed to be there. I don't think I care for the disc brakes anyways. It's the first Volkswagen I've ever had with disc brakes and they lock up way too easily, in my opinion. It almost seems like I should have sandbags in the front to make better use of their braking power. And of course there's always that goddamn squealing.

All of that said I'm not making any moves at the moment. I've got a very worn out right inner tie rod to replace and some window trim to do.
