Hi, not sure if it is allowed here but want to share my long time project.
Due to the lack of an affordble Hebmuller type 14a, I set my mind on a home built Hebmuller tribute page. The goal from the beginning was to make one, as good as possible, correct as possible. Started in 1987 with the idea, a donor and a handfull picts. The finish line was reached june 2017 while entering the main square of Hessich Oldendorf under own power.
It is all made in metal, the roof is 100% copy on an original roof frame. Each part is made like it was made in 1949-1950. Enjoy.

THe Schepmuller, nicknamed by a German friend after seeing some picts of my project in the past...
on request some extra picts. All the work is done by me, all the panels are made by me, roof, fabric, interior, paint, welding from start to finish home work in my small garage.

Great job! Do you have more info and photos of the build process? I really like to build a heb replica from a speedster beetle in the future. From what car did you started the build?

Cheers from Spain

Hi Alberto, I started with a butchered 55 oval.. .roof was full of dents from kids playing on it.... not that bad. Changed some details to split like dash and inspection panel in the back above gearbox and some small things. I have lot's of picts. All is documented but to post them here is a long process. But some of them are on my FB page. If you have FB, send me a privat message so I can hook you up. It is a non public one.
