My fridge wasn't staying lit on propane - even parked. Knowing it's going to probably need a new burner at some point, I nonetheless removed the vent covers - upper and lower - and took a compressor with a thumb-actuated blower attachment and blew out the combustion chamber with it at about 10-120 PSI. My 2003 EVC has about 160K miles. You wouldnt' believe how much crap flew out of those vents. I did the same thing with my furnace with similar results. Though my furnace was working just fine.

Might add, I also put screen in front of all my vents to keep out dirt daubers and other bugs. So anyway, if your fridge won't stay lit on propane, I'd recommend giving it a big hit with compressed air. Worked great for me.
