|
|
Looking to purchase a used dogleg section for my Bay. Mine is a 70 bay, parts are advertised as 68-72....
Is there a crossover year in there? Or am I safe to order the part and be assured it will fit?
Thanks,

Should fit, 73+ is different. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

I thought 72 dogleg was one year. But 68-71 should fit a 72? Is that correct BD?

Searched did not come up.
72 only Door Frames-Lower Part (doglegs)-(rocker panel)-(wheel arch)
Has flared fender lip over tire, with no step built into the floor section like the 73-79. Because the step is, in the wrap around bumper as the 68-71.
Thanks to Volktales for the pic.
72 only front Tow Hook.

Ahhhh.. yes, the lip, I guess it depends on the supplier and the quality of the part. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.
