Yes they are, it's something I did back on my first dune buggy (the yellow one was still my Dad's at the time).
I noticed the scratches from getting in and out and wanted something to protect the paint there, so I had vinyl ones made with snaps for the dark blue buggy and the orange ones I made with Velcro for this one (which was my Dad's)

| I use the old school fiberglass buckets and cut the center out and weld a square together out of 1inch flat iron and get the flat curvey springs from old junk seats, weld 4 in a row & place a piece of firm foam on it put the cover back on & now you have a suspension seat.. |
