We have plenty of birds of prey in NYC. At work we have a pair of Peregrine falcons that hang out during the winter months. In our back yard a few weeks ago we had a hawk chow down on a neighbors pigeon from his coop. The local church has Raptors hanging out and I’ve seen eagles and owls in the parks. Dumb squirrels and pigeons a plenty in NYC, and the occasional poodle. All easy pickings for theses birds. Only thing they need to look out for is shiny windows and poisoned rats.

We are hoping this next nor'easter will be mostly rain here.

We have bald eagles too. Saw one yesterday, first of the spring here for me.

And Sanchius' Great Horned Owls are coming along nicely. The bird on the left is sitting on two eggs and the bird on the right has two fuzzy owlets now! The male dropped off a rabbit for the females to share at 5:51 this morning.

Close one this morning!

We had 7" of wet heavy snow fall and I totally forgot about my wipers!

I quickly ran out and cleaned off the Van before the heavy snow did its damage!

Whew!

Will the snow of 2017/18 never end?

Ha! 46" in my part of NW Jersey in March!

Ever since I pulled my Ghia out from long term outside storage to get it road worthy it has been snowing!!
