That's the rumor all over Facebook and on other forums. That sucks I have a couple sets of their wheels and love them. Way better than any other lightweight wheel out there

Tell me about it, all of us vintage racers use them, now we will be afraid to damage them in vintage races because they will become un-replacable. Sucks |

I recently purchased a set of used Centerlines that previously only been used on the drag strip. They are marked for bias ply tires only. I looked online and found a website for them, so I asked about using radials on these wheels. I got a response telling me not to use radials on these wheels. Long story short, they are not closed or have been bought out and are again doing business. Has anybody ever experienced failure of these wheels due to using radials? Any input, pro or con, will be appreciated. |

Was there a reason given for only using bias-ply tires? _________________ On a lifelong mission to prove (much to my wife's dismay) that Immaturity is Forever!! |

I've been told that the bead area is not able to handle the pressure that the characteristics of the radial would cause. I have been told by another forum member that he used them for years on the same wheels with no problems. Others on the net have said the same thing. I'm guessing that Centerline is covering their butts by telling me not to use radials on these rims. |

I ran radials for years as did my brother with v8 power and 3.5" wide wheels holding up all that weight no issues. I run radials on my cms wheels too. |
