... very nice, I really like the old passenger bus and all the old cars, of coarse... any make and model Dinky... of coarse the VWs... do you have a favorite?
What will you do with them all, now? Displaying them, might be something to consider...
... looked in your gallery. Sure liked the very creative sidecar photo, with your side kick on board... that idea and photo is a prize winner. _________________ 5/50, pastel green 11G - SOLD

I hadn't ridden my bike in years, at least 2 bull terriers worth. I decided to get a trailer to take the furkid with me, then seen the scandinavian sidebike on pintrest one night, and the wheels started spinning over the winter. That is what came out at the end, it's tons of fun and she really enjoys it.
one of the first vids we took last year when we got the sidecar put together https://www.instagram.com/p/BVQxNdMgzoj/?taken-by=mark_witwicki
We have a pretty small house so I just put a few of the ones I played with regularly on a couple display shelves. I still want to clean off the crappy paint jobs. I have a couple boxes of my old toys from the 60's my mom kept, Johnny west with all his rubber gear, and GI joe with a few different adventure kits, the lionel train set, etc. We didn't get a ton of toys as kids but the ones we got we hung on to, or wore them out. _________________ http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/manuals/jim_martin_engine_build.php

i'm one of 15 kids. So my parents kept very little in the way of toys... i'm much more nostalgic and envious of you guys with old stuff around due to your parent's thoughtfulness... I have saved lots of stuff for our one kid... including one of his first real cars, an '02 Acura RSX, type S. _________________ 5/50, pastel green 11G - SOLD

Thank you for putting them on shelves. Old toys are like pieces of art, and should be seen rather than be packed away. |
goats are a pain in the ass as they are always trying to escape and once they do, all they want is to get back into where they came from... give me a Dinky 181 instead, anytime
We had a French Alpine and a Nubian once... _________________ 5/50, pastel green 11G - SOLD

... sure enjoy the confusion, looking into a disorganized box also...
"confusion" can be artistic as well... some on a shelf, all neat and pretty, with a box of chaos, making an artistic statement ... SVA 1969 _________________ 5/50, pastel green 11G - SOLD
