This is most likely going to be my last post on the Bug. If anyone wants more updates, you will need to use google and search for my Bug. It will pop up a few different active forums that I keep updated. _________________ 1970 Bug Shell - the rest of it, well see for yourself...

Thanks Joey. Lack of interest is why I no longer post here. This forum is absolutely great for people with bone stock bugs. But for projects like mine, its like going on a chevy forum and talking about your ford. _________________ 1970 Bug Shell - the rest of it, well see for yourself...

Anyone still following? If so, I dont think I am going to sell the Bug. I have put too much time and money in it to let someone else enjoy it. So, on to putting even more time and money in it. Lets start with adding some much needed aero...
Step 1

Thanks for the comments guys. I am still here and kickin and enjoying every second of driving the Bug. I am actually enjoying it so much, I am trying to make it a bit more comfortable to drive. I will get to that after the splitter is done.
Step 2
Take the first mock up of the splitter and make it better. Its a little bit bigger and smoother now. Also, the side panels have a much nicer shape. Side panels will be white and the splitter itself is either going to be black or carbon fiber.
Final product should turn out something like this...

Thanks Bashr!
Trynne - That is awesome! Is that a custom piece? Any other pictures of it you could post? Maybe a link to your build thread?
Man the more and more I see pictures of Bugs with a nice splitter, they are all supers. Starting to wish I got a super to start with. Then I wouldnt have had to cut my hood and could still use the factory latch. Well, too late now. _________________ 1970 Bug Shell - the rest of it, well see for yourself...

Step 3
Receive splitter from company who CNC cut it for me. Then install.
Its still not done but will be soon. Got to get some adjusters, trim the side skirts some more, paint them and then done. And yes, this will be fully functional and adjustable. _________________ 1970 Bug Shell - the rest of it, well see for yourself...
