The wiring harness on my 85 westy doesn't have the wires. Maybe the same with yours?

I got no wires at all! Not cut or anything. I replaced the hose unfortunately, with a 2.1L model I had laying around bc it was leaking badly. I cannot recall if the old one had the pressure switch or not before I threw it away Sad

the switch is supposed to be wired to the idle module located ahead of the right tail lamp assembly, at least thats how it is done on my 1986.

I found a cut wire under the throttle body coming out of the engine. Is this the wire?

I believe the 85 1.9l only has one wire to the power steering pump for idle enrichment.
Maybe the second connection goes to ground?

Takeiteasy, did you ever figure out where the second wire went? I'm having the same problem... one wire is connected and I can it trace end to end. The other wire is connected to the PS switch, but is only about 5-6 inches long and appears like it was broken off. I've searched the engine compartment and cannot find where it once might have been attached. It's brown so I'm guessing it was a ground?
