Hello,
What VW parts books were available circa 1952-53? Was the a comprehensive parts book available in German or English for the Beetle or Transporter?
I'm curious as the '53 Porsche parts book I have skips a lot of the parts needed for the car, referencing instead to find them in the VW parts book, as they are identical.

| You'll want to key eye out in the literature section of the classifieds as such parts books (or copies thereof) will occasionally turn up there. Prices range from $ 100 to $ 300 depending on condition, originality, and (of course) the seller. |

The '52 Beetle parts book was available bi-lingual German & English. I have a PDF if you need info from it, it's in two parts Groups 1-7 & Groups 8-0 +SP

Thanks rod_vw! I wil PM you.
And Brezelmeister, nothing specific at the moment, but the specs on the whole suspension system would be nice to have detailed info on. The pre-A Porsche shares the same suspension with the 1952 and earlier VWs - the 90mm travel shocks and everything. So it would be nice to have documentation of that.
