There are so manyÖbut here's one that I was recently reminded of. The album version is much better but only live performances were available.

Bruce Cockburn-Child of the Wind.

Here's another live version with Mark O'Conner playing with him.

I use to love to play "Going Up The Country" by Canned Heat until the Geiko Insurance commercials ruined it.

Wow. so so many awesome tunes.

Canned heat has my vote. I also like these.

Steppenwolf
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egMWlD3fLJ8

Tuna
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6giiYDlqRQs

And who can forget Melissa?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pwbowi-8Yoo

Now if I could only get the wind noise down so that we can hear the music.

My road album is Old and In The Way.

I always liked this one for those long lonley stretches of desert. Great with a set of head phones and vast wide open space.

Winston is a product of the 80's. In many respects, so am I. And we are a team effort.

My road album is Old and In The Way.

Roger that. Old and In The Way is an old favorite road album in my Westy. Never gets old, though I sure do.

Realistically, the Talking Heads "Road to nowhere" is the most appropriate, but one of the first tracks I played in B.O.B. was Kraftwerk's "Autobahn", an old favorite. Unfortunately with the ambient road noise and POS sound system it is just too subtle for that song to work well.

Yes, I'm the guy who had an FM converter for the AM radio in my '65 Bug rather than fork over the cash for a real radio, so I'm not upgrading anytime soon.
