I am restoring the interior in a 69 Bus. Does anyone know how to remove factory soundproofing and glued head liner material without damaging paint?

If you try to remove all the old glue you will scratch/thin/ruin the paint. Reuse the soundproofing or rip it off gently & get the new soundproofing & headliner installed ASAP! Twisted Evil

Yes, that glue is almost impossible to remove without taking the paint off too. Must have used only the studlyest of German plow horses to make that glue.

I used dry ice in my other car...you could try in a small area (ventilated) and see if it works on a bug
