I have not seen it at the Woodburn Bug Run/Drags. The turbo Bugs would embarrass it I imagine.

I like it. Sort of what we're doing to a super beetle.

I saw this car at the Dream Builders car show in Monroe last year. Pretry well done car by the father/son team. Apparently, it's a hand-full to drive in anger. Haters gonna hate what they can't buy or build themselves. . .

There's been 1 on my local Craig's list for a few months now. It's a late Fastback, set up as a "Gasser" with a straight axle up front. They want way too much money for it (25K). Kind of reminds me of the old Ford Anglia's of the 60's. Cool

Back in the 80s in CO when I used to go to Bandimere for the Bug-In,
There was this V8 beetle that used to spank all of them.

Totally unfair...
Just mopped up every single one of the beetle-motor drag cars;
They didn’t stand a chance.

They eventually figured out a way to exclude him from the event.

It was like, “Dag”.. You had to come to grips with how slow a beetle really is.

You would likely be very disappointed to watch this thing go against your VW heros in the 1/4 mile..

I see V8 bugs get whooped by VW bugs all the time. Seems to be regional? Turbo bugs and even n/a bugs launch better than the V8 powered bigs here.
