I believe there is a genuine, arguable point that the manual cover (my favorite) would spark renewed interest in the publication- therefore helping sales. I'd love to have more from these great old manual covers. The other designs, maybe not so easy.
But sign me up for the front qtr. view of the beetle as well! Very nice sir.
As long as they don't compete directly with VWoA Driver Gear items- they are more likely to be lenient. _________________

You may want to have documentation such as a release back to the owners of the pictures you used. As long as they are from an actual car that the owner has given you permission to use then maybe you can show the VW logo? I don't know but I have seen this numerous times on shirts sold at shows with a specific person's VW shown. _________________ Brett

Hey jordanwlee,
are there any news about your plan with the shirts?
Does anyone know about the costs for the VW licence?
Everytime i heard something about this official licence, people said that it is so expensive that it would not pay off just by selling shirts..
I also designed some shirts - just for myself, but often on meetings and on the web people asked me if i also do sell them. I always refused, but in general this topic always interested me. _________________ Blog website:www.austrosplit.com

Just don't put a VW emblem. If you made the designs, it's your copyright from my understanding. Anything in the public domain is available too. I make shirts and they have VW designs, but I've never had any problems with copyright. _________________ '67 Beetle L41
