I currently have a Harbor Freight Flux 125 and it has worked well for me on a couple projects including my last one which was a drift trike build. I was able to weld 3/4 inside diameter black pipe. I want to tackle on a narrowed beam and have set aside $500 for a new welder. Kind of looking for a good welder in that price range that will help me tackle a beam and also sheet metal work. Any suggestions?

I put my opinion in the welding sticky. It's on the last page.
