Looks like a 1938 Pontiac four door sedan with an arachnid-like array of headlights and marker lamps grafted on to fenders resembling the rear of an Opal GT. Kinda gives the impression somebody was afraid of the dark.
Oh, and stay out of its way because evidently it's quite mad.

As far as I am aware the vertical louvers with trim on the engine cowl side panels were introduced on the 1938 model, previously there was only horizontal trim. The number of horizontal bars on the front grill was also reduced.

Perhaps it is a '37 with a '38 hood and grill? 
Sometimes folks do that to make an old car look newer. |
