Rewiring a 1971 type 2 VW bay window camper

Hey guys I have a 1971 type 2 VW bay window camper I am working on with my best friend he is the owner of the van.
I am currently hung up on some wiring issues though, him and his buddie yanked apart the dash board and all the components including the fuse panel.

They did not document or video any of the process or label anything. He gave me a daily driver in trade to install a built scat pack and new everything in the engine bay, including lights and all parts. Long story short I have wired everything in the engine bay, all lights, basically everything but the instrument cluster and dash and switches.
I have the wiring diagram but it is hard to understand because some of the parts are a little different. I build performance water cooled Vw/Audis and do not have a lot of experience on air cooled wiring. I would prefer video.

I was wondering if some one had any how to videos like these
