Anyone know of any shops in Georgia that are good for rebuilding type 4 motors?

what part of the state? Advanced imports in Tucker is aircooled only, bobby builds abd maintains quite the variety.

there is a shop out near Conyers, and up in Jasper is a great VW restoration shopn the name escapes me at the moment, vut look up member Jeff Geisen.

I would reach out to jake raby if you have some time and some money. if you are looking for a budget build under 5K, don't bother with jake. and I don't mean that in a bad way, his engines are expensive, but you won't find a better engine builder

No idea their capability with T4 motors. Nice guys to camp with though.

Bobby At Advanced imports near me in the city did my T4 align bore and showed me how to set my end play. So I can vouch for him.

Thanks for all the replies! I actually live about 10 mins from Jake's shop, but I don't have that kind of money at the moment. I'm going to check out all the shops that people listed. Thanks again.

ill 2nd recommening bobby at advanced imports. hes done head work for me and installed king pins for me on the beetle. Super nice guy.
