All three are photoshopped, but this one really needs to be built.

"Sokol

Only 1 ever made!

This car was built Stanislaw Tatar.

The story;

He conceived the Sokol in 1970 and began its construction using a VW beetle floorpan. The bodywork, made at his truck facility in Rhodesia was all rolled steel except for the aluminium/ alloy bonnet. He brought the car to England in 1977. Initially the car didn't have pop-up headlamps but had to be added to meet lighting height rules before it was registered in 1978. Later he replaced the 1600 aircooled with a 2 litre Toyota engine. His son was responsible for the futuristic electronics, display in the steering wheel, keypad in the front panel to unlock the safe on the motorhome that was towing the car back to the UK... (Apparently these worked in the 80's but sadly weren't working when I bought the car.) "

Some think that if your beetle has a padded dash, it's an engine donor. Some think that if it has push button door handles, it's a boat anchor.
Do what you want. Ignore the elitists. Drive your VW. Enjoy life.

Rear and side view I would drive it, but that front looks like skin peeling back like the assassins in the movie "Mars Attacks," so no.

LOL! All that custom work and it's still VW powered. He could have put it on a small pickup frame or mated something else up to the transaxle...tons of options...but, no. That's the dumbest part of the whole thing...

Hideous.

It’s ridiculous that you sit dead center right behind the window divider, WTF?!!

Also, AstroTurf inside and what the hell is that peach and white interior color??

I enjoy oddball customs as much as anyone, but I went through the photos looking for a reason to have built this. Didn't find one.

I will give kudos to the fact that it DOES NOT have an 009 distributor. That really surprised me.

I kept trying to figure out why this front looked familiar. Not sure if it's the Toyota 2000gt it reminds me of or something else.
