This schematic is a complete unification of the 90-94 Subaru engine control schematic to the various schematic sections from the Bently manual for a 1987 manual vanagon with dealer installed A/C.

NOTES:
->I gutted the A/C system and used the 2nd stage fan speed that is normally controlled by the A/C relay to implement a solution for allowing the Subaru ECU to control the radiator fans. The 3rd stage fan speed is still controlled by the radiator thermostatic switch as a fail-safe backup.
->Subaru check engine light is mapped to the OXS light in the dash
->Alternator warning light remains functional
->Tachometer remains functional, but requires recalibration
->Low oil pressure warning light remains functional
->Coolant temperature gauge remains functional
->The "V/S" blocks represent the splice points between the Vanangon wiring and the Subaru wiring. The color codes between the MFGs are not consistent.
