Let me know if you're coming next Wednesday. I need to know how much pizza to get. Jason said he was coming. Mitch texted and said definitely maybe. Beyond that, I dunno who else is in.
Also, Jason and I were talking last weekend about taking a sick day from work in the near future to head down to PDX and pay homage the Lucky Lab and its VW loving denizens. Anyone else interested? _________________ Andrew

Well read, Jason.
I'm actually going to be in Moses Lake this weekend so can't share a spot. Too bad too, I have some more purging to be done. _________________ Andrew

GSBG today at 4:30pm or later. I'll be heading out from work around 4pm, home 20 minutes later. I'll have a pizza or two ready around 5:30pm. Bring beer, non alcoholic drinks, and snacks if you want those. Otherwise, you left with what I have on hand. You won't go thirsty. The rain barrels are pretty much full! _________________ Andrew

Hey guys - new Bus owner here in Seattle. We dove down to Portland and picked up this 1970 Bay window and drove her home Saturday. Anyways, just wanted to say hello and see what was happening in the Seattle area. This is my first air cooled vehicle, so I’m sure I’m going to have plenty of questions and “will you work for beer?” instances come up!!
Cheers

Let me answer that for you. NOTHING is happening in the Seattle area!! Was once a vibrant Bus community. Now it’s just dudes that can’t be bothered to drive in traffic every 4 months. Got so bad Notchboy had to move to Cali and Stuart hit the road. RONIN10 is a gamer he’s still up there. Maybe you to can bump start this thing again.
But if you happen to be back down to Portland on any given Monday. You can meet up with us.

Congrats on the new bus and welcome to The Samba. _________________ Keep on Busin'

You know I was going to say something to that effect....
The GSBG in spirit is just a dude with a bus telling folks with Buses, hell any ACVW - I will be at this place, this time. Swing in and have a X with me if you want.
Sometimes no one shows, sometimes 20 peeps show. You never know unless you do an every Monday deal like Xevin and the PDX Crew.
Oh and I have new friends now.

Instead of hanging out drinking beer, I did a clutch replacement and other needed repairs so I can drive my daily driver Westy.
Today the fog is so thick I wouldn't drive anywhere!
Maybe next week I hit up Lucky Lab when we are in Portland. _________________ 70 Ghia Black convert-9/69 build date-stock w/133k 1600 SP-barn find now with a rebuilt tranny and engine

Going to sound pissy, here, but I'm feeling grumpy so eff it. For the record, I drive my bus daily, year round, and do everything but transmission and body work on my own bus. And furthermore, of the three vehicles in my household, not one is newer than 1982 and I maintain them all.
The GSBG thing is tough to maintain. No one in the area wants or is willing to take on the job of coordinating it regularly. We really need a social butterfly like Xevin in the area to take charge of it, cajoling everyone in the area into showing up. _________________ Andrew
