Check out our redesigned HEBMÜLLER and KARMANN Registry. Peter and me have decided to clearly distinguish both Karmann Type 15 and Hebmueller Registry. As previously on our site www.karmann1952.de you will find the split and zwitter convertible Registry. The new HEBMÜLLER Registry (www.hebmueller-registry.com) does not only list the existing VW Type 14A and Type 18A convertibles. It also contains all known surviving Hebmüller bodies. To grant most complete information we were able to motivate many Hebmüller specialists to share their knowledge and archives as for example the Hebmüller family, Bob Gilmore, Yan Rami, Klaus Jacobsen and Steve Dressler amongst others. Both registries now are offering filters to sort listed cars by body numbers, year of make, colour, condition or country. As usual we will be happy to receive your feedback to our websites as well as informations about known or unknown cars.

Many internal VW memos regarding Hebmuller are posted in my photos... these should be on your site... and translated. Here is an example of one... written to Nordhoff by a quality control inspector... 1 week before the fire at Hebmuller:

Here’s page one of the contract between vw and hebmuller... balance of the pages are in my photos if you are interested. Feel free to take them for your site. Some are very hard to read though. If anyone has a contact for Bruce Braun... he had these all translated. But he asked me not to share his translations. I’ve lost track of him but he may be willing to share them now... it’s been 30 years or so...

Eric, I fully agree and we are working on it. There is more to come. For the moment a part about the proto's is in the pipeline but we want to be as sure as possible before we add that part of history. I have some of those docs since long time secured as a download.
