I recently snagged a copy of this book on ebay.fr for $200. Just got it in the mail today. It appears to be new. Thrilled. _________________ 1971 1302LS Convertible (RHD) owned since '74

No message received yet, hopefully he's too busy posting them to have time to send a message.
I'll message him and ask for my tracking number.
I take it you didn't resolve this with PayPal then ? |

Paypal case is open, I`m just waiting to see if he`s true to his word.
No reply yet. The warehouse must be miles away in another country or something. |

If you look at july76's posts, it looks like a legitimate member and not a fly-by-nighter.

Whether the books will be delivered is anyone's guess. I'm just pointing out that july76 has had a presence here since 2015, and didn't just show up out of the blue. _________________ We are striving for perfection, to make our cars run forever, if possible.

I've just messaged him again, he has not even read the last 3 messages I've sent him.
I paid for the book on the 4th April so 6 weeks ago now.
How long does he expect people to wait ? |

I bought this book off Amazon in 2009. It cost $41.97 + shipping. I have no idea what happened to it. For these crazy prices, I reckon I'm gonna start digging! |

Sorry to hear about getting ripped off for that book.
It just happened to me as well. I believe that there's 3 of us who got screwed on eBay.
Which begs the question, why wasn't this A hole stopped by ebay after the first time ?
Ebay is got the worst customer service ever ! So I opened my case with PayPal where I actually was helped by a human being.
Briviera2579 is this muts handle on eBay and has a 5 name name from Spain.
PM for his name if you like.
So Iam still looking for my copy I guess 😐 _________________ Currently restoring a 1953 11g in metallic blue.

But if you have a problem it's like night and day.
Even the PayPal guy told me he hears ebay complaints every day.
Anyone selling their copy ? : ) _________________ Currently restoring a 1953 11g in metallic blue.

Not anymore. eBay sold Paypal in 2015. _________________ Gone but not forgotten: 1950 Hoffman split (restored in 1966) - another 1950 Hoffman split (restored in 1996) |

I Have messaged and emailed lots of times and had no reply.
Does anyone have contact details - phone number or even better an address.
Can thesamba please ban this individual, I think enough of us have been taken for money. This is not the kind of person we want on here ! |
