Hi all,

The panelbeater managed to lose both caps & the bolts for the springplates on my NOV '54 Kombi.

I've found a NOS set for sale, but I'm not sure if they are correct, and as my bus is over a thousand miles away from me, I can't measure mine up.

What are the differences between cap styles, please, and which is correct for my bus?

For some reason I can't tell the difference in what you pictured above but here's my 2/55 spring plate cap, I would think an 11/54 Bus would be the same:

Hi Everett,

Thank you for that. It is a great help.

If you look closely at the cap photos above, note the stubby reinforcements. One appears to be sloping downwards and the other is cut concave.

Kind regards.
