Not of it's a Deluxe. (and it probably is) where the steering wheel, column and column tube (and turn signal switch) all changed for model year 1960. The new column shaft is shorter, since the new steering wheel is dished downward.

The dished wheel is considerably safer. I had a 58, and often pictured that undished wheel nailing me in the chest, taking out my heart. The dished wheel was a huge improvement for safety!
