Well a big step in completing the car was the bumpers. The fiber glass european bumpers were shaped and new brackets were made to get them close to the body!

stock brackets just wouldn't cut it!

Countless hours were spent on both bumpers getting them to shape

The brackets were then fiberglassed and urethane adhesive was used to secure them into the inside of the bumper. They were epoxy sealed and primed.

Then blocked out and then sprayed two coats of L 87 Pearl White from the roof!

It sure has been awhile since Ive updated. This car has been to the west coast for Type 3 Takeover at El Prado 2019 this summer, as well as down on the beaches in the Carolina's all summer as I work there on my summers off.

I started another thread for my new 1966 Fastback project but would like to bring some updates to this as well. Attached are some headliner install pics from Summer 2018.

Being as we bought the car disassembled and had two sets of bows, we had to take measurements and use TheSamba for references to get the bow orders right. I will have to get a finished pic but these are from the install.

Headliner install looks good at this time (of your photos). Cool That's a lot of work.
Good on you to actually get out and drive the car places too. Enjoy it, that's why you built it. Wink

Hey all!

Did a cool thread on my Empi Wilwood brake kit and wheel fitment. I did these up colored matched a few years back. They do work excellent but have some wheel fitment issues. Here they are freshly done up!
