I am repairing my 2001 VW New Beetle front interior door panels. The door panels have some cracks that I am repairing and I am going to reupholster the door inserts and paint the rest of the panel.
I removed the interior power door handles and window switches from the front door panels. The plastic clips on the inner side of the panel doors that hold the door handle in place broke off as I removed the part. The door handle is screwed into the inner side of the door panel at one end opposite the inner panel door clips, but cannot hold the door handle in place without the supporting plastic clips.
Any ideas on how to replace the broken clips?
The window switch on the drivers and passenger side front door panels simply are not held firmly in place in the door panel insert location.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Appreciate any information that can lead to a solution.

Dieselgeek makes a repair kit or search eBay for the aluminum replacement.

Thanks for response, but my problem is with the interior door lock switch on the door panel which also has a handle that you pull on to open the door. Sorry I wasn't clear enough in my post.
