I was trying to put on the skirt for the first time on my 71 bus. It was not going on correctly. Then I noticed these two brackets, where a piece was ripped and bent. Does anyone know why someone would do this?

Also, you might want to change the title to “apron problem”. Lord knows you’ll get a lot of views and questionable remarks from this crowd with the original title but future searchers will find it a lot easier with the latter. _________________ 1970 Crew Cab

I was going to say they all look like sisters when you lift up the skirt. but, the same could be said about lifting the apron _________________

I used to have a skirt problem, then my wife got a pistol.
Get the apron low, under that area, flat on top of the metal it slides over then slide it straight in... otherwise you are fighting it, with or without that damage. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

pulled backwards with tow hooks from a wreck, stuck in mud, embedded in a field with flat tires, up a hill over rocks etc. _________________ “Most people don’t know what they’re doing, and a lot of them are really good at it.” - George Carlin |
