I love the way your painter hung the body to shoot it. I also love clear. I shoot my paddleboards because they're mostly a matte type gel coat and get chalky and dirty quickly ..'getting started on the valance of a motorhome as soon as the trees stop with their damn pollen.

For those looking into clears - https://www.southernpolyurethanes.com is one of the best I have, in my limited experience, tried.

H-J, Your buggy is very modern and highly detailed ..where that depth of gloss is appreciated. Well done.

I expect to use a single stage in a period color only looking for 'time capsule clean'. ...I just need more time added to my capsule.

painted the dash with VHT wrinkle paint. This stuff is great, turned out exactly how I wanted it to look. Very happy with it, I also set the center console in just for looks, I like it.

Was the VHT rattle-can or gun-shot? Brand? ...it looks very nice.

Wetstuff , It is a rattle can from your local parts store , I went to AutoZone and Advance Auto they both carry it, It is VHT wrinkle paint for valve covers and other stuff. I put on a light coat wait 5 min then a heavier coat wait 5-10min 3 coats.

It's alive..fired right up until I smelled gas .I started to look for gas leaks..yup found it..up front under the tank . The bulkhead fitting was not tight and the fuel pump sprayed gas every where..what a smelly mess..fixed it and set the fuel pressure..runs like a champ. I will post a vedio later. Still have to tidy up the wiring on the motor.

Used my son's old lacrosse stick and made a spark plug wire holder. Works great , I guess I will owe him a stick..

Installed the plug wire holder and cleaned up the wiring. I still have to get a coil wire made and make a tag bracket..onto the interior next.

Looking super clean Hot Air! Love to hear a sound clip for your unique exhaust. Nice work on the console too - no cup holders? Very Happy

I am trying to figure out how to load a video, It's not loud at all, nice and quiet at idle and a little throaty when given some gas, I think it is quieter then the bazookas.

Where did you buy the bronze bushing, was it already the right size or did you turn it down on a lath?
