Another notable detail when reconstructing a 40’s car is that the quarter panel return flange on the 40’s cars is not as long as the 50’s cars. If you purchase a reproduction corner gusset it will need to be cut down to the proper size to fit.

Here is the shot I took the other day when I was over there to note all the differences in size throughout the shape. Our two dashes look very similar.

Would you consider selling me that dash section you showed in the photos?
