Nice one Skim
You set a really high bar with El Pavo, looking forward to see where this build ends up, good luck with it! _________________ Major; 1977 Westfalia Campmobile

Same story brah, you can’t rush perfection!
And we didn’t make bricks, our homes are made of stone and mortar.
Just like affording perfection, only if you do it yourself! And when yo done, everybody better agree.

Now the under floor work is done. Still need to cut out the old floors and install the new floors but I’ll do that last.

Now probably one of the biggest to do’s on this is the right rear corner. It was full of thick Bondo so I decided since I need to put in a new battery tray too, I’d do a full corner. The damage went up pretty high. Higher than the small corner that is offered.

Tony, this bus is looking good. I think it is crazy to think when you take a small area like this B Pillar spot and think about how many pieces you need to cut out and replace. I count at least 8 pieces you replaced in this spot. Wow!!! |

Hi Skim,
Thanks for sharing your outstanding work. Are you using .024 solid core wire? Any particular brand?

That's what I'm getting into now on my SC. Respect for you guys who do it so cleanly and flawlessly. It's fun but damn takes some serious attention to detail. _________________ ,,Wenige Menschen denken, und doch wollen alle entscheiden.'' -der Alte Fritz

Where I left off on this corner. The decklid hinge carrier still needs to be replaced as well so it’s just sitting in there for now.
