See attached picture. There is a spring for the seat back release rod. I cannot seem to find where I can purchase a replacement spring. Any ideas?

| Sorry, it is for a 1968 bug. No, the front and back adjustment return springs are not what I am needing. It is the spring in the picture that I need. |

I always have good luck with the local hardware stores for stuff like that, usually the 'little guys' have more selection for that type of stuff.
Ace, TrueValue, etc.
Also check 'farm supply stores' (Tractor Supply, Rural King, Southern States, etc)
Lowes, Home Depot, etc. might have it but I would go to the local store or the farm supply stores first- more selection there.

Rick,
I checked with mamotorworks and showed them the picture (posted here) and they said that was not the part and that this particular spring is not something they carry (or anyone I have found yet).
I went to a local hardware store as AlmostHeavenWV_VW suggested and found one that is as close as I think I'll find...so far works well!
