|
|
I have a 1968 Volkswagen Beetle 1500 CC. It came with the original solex 30 pict 2 carburetor. The throttle bushings are loose and it will not idle. I was wondering if I could put a 30 pic 1 carburetor on it for the replacement? Any advice is helpful. Thank you. |

Okay I will have to look into getting my old one machined and fixed. But in the meantime I installed a 30 pict one and that carburetor doesn't have the vacuum on the front of it that runs to the manifold. but with that pict one I'm getting backfire any information would help. Don't know if the vacuum is making the backfire. |
