Another what trans should i use

I have two transmissions one is a AT22034 the other is a AT11024. Is there a difference between the two? Im about to do a clutch and Im trying to decide which one to use

Both are the same if they have never been rebuilt. Since they are 45 years old anything could have been changed inside them.

AT 22 03 4 was built on the 22nd day or March, 1974
AT 11 02 4 was built on the 11th day of Feb, 1974

3.875 R&P with 3.78/2.06/1.26/.93 1-4 gears

Eye wood change the gear lube on both and pick the one with the best looking gear lube... or the one that leeks least if your not going to reseal it. I bought a trans last week from a guy that swore it was good..wow i wish i could paint with that much Metallica in the paint....nice pretty silver oil...lots of silver, not just a little.no real gear lube color at all. Also inspect the drain plug maggnett for debris. good thing I only paid a core price for it.(lot less than he wanted a month earlyer...Atleast it has a hd side cover and spins freely&smooth.
