And all the best shows have DRAG RACING!!!

Not sure if I should take the beetle up there and run it down the strip..
Seems like now or never if there are no more dragstrips in the bay area.

Have to find someone to drive it up there for me,
As the bus doesn't really want to flat-tow the beetle that far..

Plus,
It doesn't even have one tank of gas thru it since rebuild.
Not even broken in; might end up broken!

Love that Bug O!

Weather was beautiful!
So is the spot.

I got a jillion pics of racecars and all,
But,
Up on the hill, way up behind it all,
A really nice meadow with a view.
Kids caught a frog,
And we also saw a vole cruising along in the dark, too.

If you ever get a change to take in this event, it's really above and beyond a regular 'show'.
