those are what is known as fiberglass dune buggy kit cars.
the first pic shows some old ass tail lites (oval window?) and a popes nose tag light. thunderbird products is NOT the maker of cheap ass wine, but rather a former maker of vw exhausts systems. probably a 40 hp motor in there.
tell your buddy i said no charge for the info. _________________ blank |

it's not a Manx, there's more then a hundred of different manufacturers of buggies. Sometimes impossible to pinpoint the exact make on the lesser know or customized buggues. Most were made in the late 60s to early 70s but still could've been made later then that. I guess not much help from me but the "who made my buggy" question is the most common question asked in the buggy community... |

I concur, "Second from last picture, red and gray car in back is a 71-72 AMC Javelin" good eye 70ASBeetle. For more help try: http://jeffs_garage.tripod.com/idunknown.html and http://www.angelfire.com/wv/dunebuggies/index.html The answers you seek may be there if you look long and hard. I I.D'd mine this way, in the end it clearly said "Imp" on the title when I bought it.............food for thought. Imp558
PS: the little red fella looks really @#%$@#%!!!! Cool ! |
