I'm building a 36hp judson engine, but I'm know that the the original crank is weak.

With the 74mm , you will need to use Porsche rods(74mm has 53mm rod journals) , and you might need to clerance the case a bit . I'm helping a freind put together a 74x80 with Okrasa heads for his 58 Ghia . TROY _________________ Pres. Rivercity VW Club www.rcvwclub.org

ThanX troy,
A 74mm stroker would to big i think. I maybe use a 64mm crank with bigger bore cilinders.
anyone knows if a 64mm porsche crank is the same or srtonger???
what is a better option.
A 74mm crank with (home made rod journals) standard cilinders OR
A 64mm crank with a big bore cilinder set
A 74mm crank will give me more piston speed but I'm not gonna rev my judson.
An other question i have in mind for more pressure
Is overdriving (bigger pully) an better option or more CR better?? |
