Does anyone make reproduction versions of these in alloy like the originals? I have reproduction steel ones but obviously these rust over time.
This is a picture of one of my badly worn originals. If there is no current source I will seriously consider having some made so if anyone is interested please let me know.
Additionally, can someone tell me up to what chassis number were the two screw versions fitted. Mine are for a '46 (1-063289). The 1946 parts book quotes a part number of 8 18 361 but no equivalent shows in the 1956 book only the three screw version.

I'm working on a '47 and need a pair. I just put an order together from these guys but don't have it yet. _________________ David S |

Yes, that's where I had my replacements from but when they came they were steel not alloy! _________________ Rod,

a little rust won't hurt anything and may take another 70 years to ware out... in the mean time you can look for the correct parts.. is great that the repop-guy is even doing that. _________________ 5/50, pastel green 11G - SOLD
