Hate to hijack, just some pics for motivation. This is an original paint '59 a friend and I bought 8 years ago, he continued to put an IRS pan under it, made it a VW driver.

Hello Long-roofs,

No problem, my hopes are to share what I am doing to my project and get other excited in doing similar swaps. Actually I was thinking of a catchy name for Volkswagen /Renault Dauphine name. VOLKSRANULT? KAFERDAUPHINE?

That will be cool if we can open it up to all? Vw font is slightly different from Renault Dauphine, the French made more of a slant.

Hello All,

Sorry for the long break but got some images coming.

I recently made a bug body dolly that can be stored away when not in use.

I can be taken apart and stored. 2" and 1 3/4 telescoping tubing.
