+++ Agenda ++++ for people with Things ONLY.
June 8th:
Arrive anytime at El Prado Park, Chino CA
16700 S. Euclid Ave. Chino, CA
Park fee: $45 for the weekend.
5pm-? BBQ at Camp area. Please bring other food items and drinks to share.
The Thing camp area is reserved just for the Registry and Things. You can leave your car here any day(s) and only pay for the weekend. You will get a pass for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and or Sunday. If you are already camping at the park, you won’t pay any additional fee for the show on Sunday.
June 9th:
Leave Chino and the park early 7AM for OCTO show in Long Beach, CA
5000 E. Lew Davis St. Long Beach, CA 90808
Spectator fee: $10 per person
Around noon cruise Pacific Coast Highway (ocean views) from Long Beach to Newport Beach.
lunch at: CP Restaurant 2800 W Coast Hwy, Newport Beach, CA.
Feel free to meet us there if you can't make it to OCTO in Long Beach before for the cruise. THIS WILL BE A BUFFET LUNCH AND WE NEED A HEAD COUNT. LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO COME?
Depending on time after we can cruise PCH more.
3pm leave Beach area to drive back to El Prado Park, Chino
4pm group photo with Eric Arnold Photography @ Prado Park WE NEED ALL THE THINGS AT THE PARK FOR THE PHOTO.
6pm Dinner will be Pizza at the camp area with a small donation.
June 10th:
Arrive at THINGS WEST- show @ El Prado Park
16700 S. Euclid Ave.
Chino, CA
Gates open at 6am
Fee: $25 per car (unless you are camping)
We will have special “Thing” area parking reserved at the show with our own Raffle, and Awards. Shirts and Registry items will be available. Eric Arnold photography will be selecting Things for our annual Calendar. There will be food and vendors at the show. BIG NEWS: we just got confirmation from the Editor of Hot VW’s magazine that they will be doing a story about our event in their magazine. Eric Arnold our official photographer will be handling this for them. You don’t want to miss the photo shoot on Saturday or the show Sunday Smile
Don’t forget we also have the VW Thing Trailer raffle. Tickets are $50/Ea. And we are only selling 100 tickets. You can buy tickets at the show. We have sold over 20 tickets already.

Here are the plans for Saturdays Cruise. We will have a professional photographer Eric Arnold doing shots the entire way and it will go into HotVWs.
Things West 2018 Cruise: For Saturday after OCTO.
Map: This rout is just over 3 hours long after OCTO.

181 will depart from Blackstar in the morning and meet up at OCTO in Long Beach.
Leave OCTO at 11am to Coast for Seal Beach Pier parking lot for first coastal photo op.
Then head South down 1 to Pier Plaza and Amphitheatre at “Duke’s Huntington Beach”.
Turn left at Dukes to cruise up Main st in Huntington.
Down 1 to Aliso Beach Park for 2nd coastal photo op.
Head south on 1 to Newport Beach. Lunch in Newport Beach.
After lunch continue to head south on 1 towards Laguna Beach. Depending on time. Turn North on Highway 133 toward the 241 freeway to the 91 and Prado Park off the 91/71.
The final map may change due to the awesome LA traffic or other variables.
