I took a photo of these at the 2018 Texas Classic, but I forgot to ask the owner as I was swamped in the aura of the 300 vw's that were there.

Anyone know what these are called. I'd love to get a black pair for mine.

thanks in advance.

So the chrome trim and hub cab are separate?

Because they look different than smoothies.. as the center hub can goes in not bulging out like the normal ones I've seen.

You talking about the wheel itself? What bolt pattern do you need and how wide? There are various VW wheels available in different widths and bolt patterns - if 4 lug and you want smoothie, Deano (I think) sells the inserts. Your center caps are wheel dependent.

Those wheels on the rear were custom made/widened.

They after market reproduction versions of early ford/chevy steels that dont have the small slots like the originals and are referred to as smoothies not to be confused with OE wide 5 VW wheels, you will see them mostly on hotrods, they will be drilled ford/chevy lug pattern usually. The Caps appear to be baby moons and the trim rings are vintage ribbed style. You can buy them from a lot of places speedway, summit, cooker, most hotrod shops etc
